Fraud Prevention Program
Dear suppliers,
have you come across any wrongdoing, fraud or eg corruption at any of the RWE CZ group companies (”RWE CZ”)? Do you have any suspicion of unethical conduct? Please, tell us about it!
As a part of the Fraud Prevention Program (FPP), RWE CZ launched an active system of cooperation between RWE CZ and its suppliers on 1 October 2009. One of the key goals of the FPP is to create an environment, which mitigates the occurrence of fraud, through a strong corporate culture. The RWE Code of Conduct is he integral part of the RWE holding’s corporate culture; it supports our effort to be a highly respected, reliable and integer business partner and employer. We expect from you, our suppliers, to acknowledge and respect the principles defined in RWE Code of Conduct.
RWE CZ decided to take action against any potential wrongdoing occurring in RWE CZ. Therefore it implemented the Ombudsman system - an anonymous reporting system, which you may use to report any unethical or illegal conduct such as corruption, bribery and embezzlement, whereas your identity will be strictly confidential.
RWE CZ commits itself to follow up on all reported allegations, to investigate all relevant cases and to use disciplinary and/or legal measures to eliminate such conduct.
The Ombudsman of RWE CZ is an external law firm, White & Case, which has been selected in a tender. White & Case acts as an independent institution and provides these services via its four representatives. Our suppliers may contact the Ombudsman anonymously as well as disclosing their identity. The disclosure of the identity enables you to receive information about the process and outcome of the investigation. Such a disclosure to the Ombudsman will be anonymous towards RWE CZ upon your request.
A submission of allegations regarding a running tender procedure to the Ombudsman doesn’t constitute any delay or suspension of the tender process. Any information about the investigation is treated as strictly confidential.
